Video Alleges Passport Fraud by Jeff Berwick

In a recent digest email from LewRockwell.com there was a post warning readers about passport scammers. In it, Mark Nestmann (who is also in the business of selling passports) makes vague references to a video exposing one of his unnamed competitors engaging in fraud. He makes references to a “Mexican ‘Program'” and says the fraudster is a Canadian citizen. No link to the video was provided, but I had suspected from the information provided this had something to do with Jeff Berwick, host of the Anarchast podcast, creator of “The Dollar Vigilante” blog, and organizer of an anarchist conference in Acapulco, Mexico called “Anarchapulco”. I just watched the video, and it is indeed, Jeff Berwick.

Full disclosure, I’ve got an axe to grind. Berwick had booked me as a speaker for the Anarchapulco conference next year. He cancelled me after speaking with Jeff Tucker. He then launched a poll asking who people would rather see at the conference, I won that poll with a 2:1 ratio over Tucker, and the second place answer was to have both of us at the conference. Berwick then announced that I wasn’t the “type of person” they wanted at the conference and canceled me anyway. In other words, he used my name to promote his event without any intention of actually having me there.

Video Alleges Passport Fraud by Jeff Berwick

Axe or no axe, the video is pretty damning.

At the very least it is incontrovertible evidence of criminal activity in the sense of breaking government laws. Berwick openly talks about bribing corrupt government officials to obtain passports in time frames which are completely out of step with any established legal practice, ranging anywhere from 8 days to 6 weeks for a process that usually takes years. This spells potentially serious legal trouble for Berwick, as the video has been sent to numerous government agencies by his former colleagues in the Galt’s Gulch Chile project who accuse him of fraud in that endeavor as well.

I don’t have a problem with greasing the wheels of the corruption machine known as the State. If that is all Jeff did, then I would wish him the best of luck in escaping the grasp of any who might harm him for his efforts to make travel safer and easier for people throughout the world. The problem for libertarians arises through him taking payment from others to make these bribes under the auspices that services would be provided, when no such services have in fact been provided. In the video, Berwick makes a great many excuses, expresses he has been drinking heavily, and suicidal, and avoiding his clients who are now demanding refunds which the producer alleges exceed $2.5 million. He says he is incapable of giving the refunds, but assures the person recording that he’s not scamming anyone, and that he just needs more time. He also says he should be getting $100k from a “marijuana investment” in the near future.

Whether Jeff actually defrauded his clients, or he only stands guilty of bribing corrupt bureaucrats, the fact of the matter is the services are not being provided. This has not stopped Berwick from continuing to advertise these services on TDVImmigration.com. The best case scenario is a display of ineptitude so grand it makes the war in Iraq look like a smashing success for diplomacy. The worst case scenario is that Jeff has used his position as an anarchist media personality to gain the trust of his fellow libertarians and steal millions of dollars from them through fraud. Watch the video, and decide for yourself, but at this point you would have to be a fool to make any considerable investments with Jeff, because there is a very good possibility that he’ll be in prison well before you see any return.

On the bright side, since Berwick and Tucker appear to be such great pals, we can assume that many of Berwick’s gullible victims will be social justice warriors.

Update 06/08/2016 Jeff Berwick had Vimeo remove the original video. I’ve uploaded a backup to this server.

  • Gosh, if this proves anything it’s “don’t screw with Chris Canstwell”.

  • Ap

I don’t know how anyone can take a single fucking look at Berwick and think you can trust him with 5 dollars. He’s not purposefully nefarious, he’s just always clueless and completely irresponsible. He never really grew up.

    • Jakob Whittaker

You look into this man’s face and realize he’s a scumbag. No sympathy at all for anyone who was stupid enough to trust this man with his money.

  • UsedtobeaSuitBoi

i sed this in the chat on the podcast yesterday and i’ll say it here; you peeps need to up your standards when it comes to due diligence, or just scepticism. i’ve managed to drunkenly mumble my way out of scrapes, but i’d never ever dream of trying to make a business out of it and make any promises to people, fucking hell.

  • Wally Banger

Fuck, he sounds like he’s completely full of shit.

  • liberty lover

First Galt’s Gulch then this. I suspect we’ll be seeing him on American Greed pretty soon. I really hope he gets his shit together cause I’m a big fan of his.

    • Ken Johnson

This is a copy of my post above, to save time…and my keyboard…

GGC is not a scam. Berwick wanted to paint that I scammed people (I’m the founding partner), to then claim to “rescue” it with the handful of crooked clients of GGC who work with him. As mentioned above in another post, I, and other GGC shareholders, have multiple criminal legal actions underway against those who have harmed GGC, which includes Berwick eventually, but its not worth my time to pursue a snake like him.

The Paraguay program was ruled in court to be fully legal. I have the certified acquittal documents of the agent in Paraguay. I knew this would be the case, but kept quiet about it until having documents in hand, which I received last week from Paraguay.

BitcoinATM, he most definitely did lie, just to get onto national news as a Bitcoin whiz of some sort, which he then has been roping Bitcoin companies into working with him in one way or another. I have the communications to/from Berwick about this.

The Mexico thing clearly appears to be a scam and quite illegal…and criminal.

He and his wife also have legal problems in Argentina pending, stemming from their false accusations of rape against an innocent man, which they did to cover up their predatory sexual lifestyle in the eyes of those who live at Doug Casey’s project there.

Berwick spews lie after lie, then creates more lies to capitalize on past failures, lies, scams, etc. that he was involved in. He used his GGC smear (with himself as some sort of victim) campaign (with Josh Kirley, Tatiana Moroz, etc) to promote himself and another possible scam in Canada for growing marijuana. He used his lies about BitcoinATM to propel himself into a false state of being a Bitcoin genius of some sorts. Etc. Etc. Etc. It will now catch up with him. I will help to see to it, along with all whom he has harmed.

      • mary sunshine

Great, he cuts and pastes his lies.

  • Greg Hall

I worked out Jeff was a scammer a couple of years ago. He was pushing purchase of land in GCC. I laugh recently when he’s all over the press about how he called the recent dump on Wall Street. Saying how much his clients had made. Hmmm what about including the clients that lost their shirts Jeff? Even his recent call was out of timing, but he still takes credit. Looks to me he’s lost his way, and could be on a dangerous personal spiral to oblivion. Why does he war so much against the corrupt capitalistic system, yet displays the exact behaviour he purports to hate?

    • Ken Johnson

      Greg,

I’m the managing partner of GGC. All that Berwick wrote about me, and the project, is false. I’ve been trying to rid GGC of him dating back to mid 2013, when I knew he would be a detriment to the project. I faced opposition from two of the original five people involved (myself and four others), so I bit my lip. He cost GGC several million dollars in Founders Club revenues, which he admits to in emails…though, blames it on a former staff member (which is Berwick’s MO when caught in a lie or scam). GGC never has been a scam and we are working to complete the project. I, and other shareholders, have five criminal legal proceedings underway in Chile against a Chilean swindler whom Berwick and those who called themselves the “rescuers” have been aiding since early 2014. We also have criminal actions against three clients for the millions of dollars in damages, theft, crimes, etc that they were involved with from mid-2014 onward.

Berwick only thinks of himself, and his addictions, when pandering for money. His promises mean nothing.

      Ken Johnson

      • Greg Hall

Thanks Ken. I should apologise as this rant was aimed at Jeff Berwick and not GCC. I should have been more specific that when I said I thought it was a scam I was referring to Jeff as he struck me as an untrustworthy used car salesman. He has done untold damage to the name and I hope you get retribution in some way. Jeff comes across as someone who is not a team player at all. He is all about himself it seems. Good luck.

        • mary sunshine

You don’t have to apologize to this congenital liar, Greg. Johnson is the incompetent boob and total fraud behind the GGC disaster, not Berwick.

        • Ken Johnson

Greg. No worries. Also, if you’re wondering who the two trolls are in this forum, they are “Terence Gillespie” and Cathy Cuthbert. I offered to do a video podcast with “Terrence” back in May of this year, after I came back onto GGC property in April, but he refused to do so, so I then said that I would do an audio podcast with him, but only if he proved his identity to me. He refused. What does that say about transparency? I came back onto GGC land to stop all of the theft and intentional destruction of the farm, clubhouse, land, etc., by Cathy Cuthbert (aka Mary Sunshine in this forum), Edward J Lashlee (a convicted Ponzi scheme felon), Josh Kirley (Cuthbert’s boss, who lets others do his dirty work) and Thomas Baker, who I believe to be a corrupt cop (USMC), who makes a living invading other people’s countries, just as he did at GGC in October when he, and the Ponzi scheme felon (search: Edward J Lashlee Genesis Fund), and two accomplices broke into GGC offices, clubhouse, etc., and stole the accounting, bank records, computers, hard drives, etc., and went on to steal $500,000 USD in more property while occupying the land illegally…and destroying the GGC farm intentionally, costing GGC millions in lost past, current and future revenues. Anyone who questions their lies and propaganda are chastised and threatened. That is their modus operandi. Wendy McElroy was initially a member of their “rescue” team, as they falsely called themselves, because she was in on the false smear campaign that was launched with her article about GGC, but Wendy discontinued her involvement with the “rescuers” after learning about their ties to Mario Del Real, the Chilean real estate swindler whom has numerous criminal proceedings underway against in Chile…and learning of Thomas Baker’s and EJ Lashlee’s intent to bring physical harm to anyone who tried to stop their illegal break in and theft in Oct of 2014. All of their lies are about to be exposed publicly.

          • mary sunshine

Let’s correct this. Johnson asked Terence to call him using video because he thinks that Terence is one of the GGC investors in disguise. He isn’t, but why that would matter is totally impossible to understand. Anyway, Terence said no but that he would be on a podcast with him as Jonathan Lockwood offered. Johnson was a no show. Then Terence arranged another podcast, this with Jason Hartman and Johnson was again a no show.

There was no theft at the property and saying does not make it so. Tom and EJ (who is not a Ponzi scheme felon) didn’t break in, they were let in. The libel that Tom is a “corrupt cops” is just that, libel. Johnson knows nothing about Tom and his career. But as I say, thanks for the libel. We’ll add that to the criminal charges.

      • mary sunshine

Now we’re back to “managing partner” are we? Whatever happened to founding partner? And you say that Berwick’s MO is blaming his problems on employees? What about you? You blame every step of the GGC fraud on employees, investors, partners, anybody and everybody but yourself.

      • Terence

You’re not a partner, Johnson. You cut Berwick (Cobin, Ezyaguirre, et. al.), all your superiors and people that were actually trying to contribute something, out of the deal when filing the initial paperwork. Only your name was on the Corporate documents before you lost it all to Del Real through incompetence. Follow the trail of failure and you’ll always find Johnson in the middle of it blaming someone else for it.

  • IRONMANAustralia

      • mary sunshine

Wow, the congenital liar calls Berwick a liar. GGC was a fraud from the very beginning. Tell us, Li’l Kenny, do you know what the term “due diligence” means? No, I thought not. You’ve certainly never done it which is fraudulent for an alleged real estate developer. Tell us, what are the water rights with the El Peñon property? and how much water, not water rights, WATER, is at the Lepe property? Where are those 30 acres of row crops and the haciendas with 75% occupancy at $150 per might. Geez, you can’t even get doors and windows in the houses at GGC, you incompetent. Tell us, Li’l Kenny, how’s your fantastic Los Andes investment going. Pulling in a million per month yet?
This guy defrauds 73 people of $10 million, and steals from a handful of other investors on two more scams, yet has the running, jumping gall to accuse Berwick???
Li’l Kenny, where’s our money? Where’s our property???

        • Ken Johnson

You failed to mention anything close to the truth, which is par for the course with you, and Kirley’s and Cobin’s shill, “Terence”. You also failed to discuss the millions of dollars in intentional damages that you carried out personally, with convicted Ponzi scheme felon, Edward J Lashlee, corrupt military cop, Thomas Baker, your boss, Josh Kirley, etc. You also failed to mention your fraud in attempting to scare GGC clients into writing off as a loss on their taxes the money that they put toward a parcel, farm, etc., in GGC, while at the same time lying to them (which we have all documents/emails of) about the appraised value of GGC’s land assets. You demanded from the appraisal company, not once, but twice, that they lower their appraisal, which initially came in at about the same price that was agreed in the sales contract (with the water rights being conveniently excluded by you, without disclosure), which means that the value is far above what I agreed to pay with the former land owner. This is clear fraud and deception Ms. Cuthbert. You have a long list of criminal investigations and proceedings against you now in Chile. Do you share that publicly?

          • mary sunshine

Everything I said is true. And everything you just said is libelous. Thanks, we needed that. 😉

      • Terence

You ran the same scam in Paraguay, Johnson. Any aquittal documents you have are as phony as your backdated passport documents. That’s why you’re so afraid to travel on your PY passport.

        • Ken Johnson

“Terence” is at it again with incessant lies, which it is impossible for him to back up with documents. What is my passport number “Terence”? I’ll tell you what it is. It’s nothing. I don’t have a passport in Paraguay. I have permanent residency in Paraguay and I guess those in Paraguay whom you claim are looking for me didn’t seem to care that I was such a psychopathic liar and criminal, as you like to call me, because they were okay in issuing me a new Cedula, after losing my original Paraguayan Cedula. I lived in Paraguay a good part of this year, and met with residency officials and others. Your story is all bullshit “Terence”, as is your fake website. When your book of lies is due to come out, I’m sure Cobin and Kirley…and of course Cuthbert and Baker will rush out to buy it. Fun fun.

          • Terence

Try coming back to the US on ANY passport, Johnson, and see what you get. You’ve earned the digital data noose you put around your own neck. It will follow you wherever you go. Enjoy the virtual jail you’ve created for yourself.

  • Don Duncan

There are so my issues here, all centering around Jeff, it would take a book to sort them all out (allow the reader to judge). The bottom line is: You should accept responsibility for “due diligence”. If you’re out $195K because you trusted the word of Jeff or anyone, that’s one you. For full explanation read: “Looking Out For #1” by Ringer.

I have no problem with breaking the law, morally. It is dangerous, just as standing up for your rights in a police state, but not immoral, just impractical sometimes.

Jeff made a business decision to not have Chris speak. That’s his business, literally, and figuratively. But I don’t like the way he handled the negotiations, on a personal level, which cannot be separated from business, “It’s just business.” is a lie people tell themselves to avoid their ethical lapse. And it was bad business anyway.

    • I can’t dislike Jeff. He works very hard and is a flawed human being. I hope for his sake and for the sake of the anarchist movement that he will prevail.

      • Ken Johnson

If partying each night until 6:00 – 8:00am, then sleeping until 3:00 – 5:00pm the next day to wake up and go to the bar to write a blog is working very hard, then I’m sure Berwick has some great swamp land in Florida to sell to you.

        • mary sunshine

Yes, we know you’ll sell swamp land all day long. That’s what you’ve always done for a “living,” you swindler.

        • Terence

How is staying awake all night figuring out how to manipulate and lie to people, then? You live rent-free off of other people’s money, so, I guess you can sleep in.

    • Ken Johnson

      Don,

I worked with Berwick in Acapulco in 2012 for TDV. I have in depth knowledge of how he operates and this video is a good representation of one of the negative and dangerous sides of Berwick. He has zero respect for other people, or their money. When clients would wire money to his account in Canada, it would be spent immediately on his personal lifestyle (drugs, booze, hookers, etc.), which he writes about (or used to) quite frequently. The funds sent by these clients was to pay agents, attorneys, etc., in other countries for on-the-ground assistance with residency, citizenship, etc., but when they arrived, many times the agent or attorney was not paid, because Berwick squandered the money. He has been robbing Peter to pay Paul ever since I have known him and he has harmed a great deal of people in the manner in which he conducts “business”.

Beyond each of our own views on which laws of this world are just, if any, what he is doing with this passport scam is far beyond putting the clients at risk. He is knowingly giving them documents (if he even has completed any) that put the client at great risk, while telling them that they are fully legal. The clients can go to prison if caught with them, or if they don’t pass the sniff test in the country in which he is peddling them. It is a very dangerous situation that he is putting people into…and he knows it…but doesn’t care.

      • mary sunshine

Yes, Li’l Kenny worked with TDV and alienated everyone there. That’s why he moved to Chile. And while in Chile, Johnson sold fraudulent Paraguay passports. “what he is doing with this passport scam is far beyond putting the clients at risk. He is knowingly giving them documents (if he even has completed any) that put the client at great risk, while telling them that they are fully legal. The clients can go to prison if caught with them, or if they don’t pass the sniff test in the country in which he is peddling them. It is a very dangerous situation that he is putting people into…and he knows it…but doesn’t care.” Li’l Kenny is writing about himself.

Hey, Li’l Kenny, where did you squander our money? Why don’t we have our lots at GGC? Oh, right, I forgot, because you signed away our investment to a Chilean scam artist for shares in a sure fire water deal that you never got. Sounds like fraud to me, Li’l Kenny.

        • Ken Johnson

No, Cathy Cuthbert, because your leader, Josh Kirley, as well as Ken Carpenter, have been aligned with the “Chilean scam artist” dating back to early 2014. We obtained approvals, while you, Kirley, convicted felon, EJ Lashlee, etc., were plotting and scheming on any/all ways to starve GGC and destroy its assets (illegally, mind you), for 10-hectare parcels, which would have completed about 40% of GGC’s contracts, in terms of revenues, with another 40% completed long ago, had you, your leader, your convicted felon co-conspirator and your corrupt cop buddy, Thomas Baker, not intentionally stolen over $500,000 in GGC property and destroyed the farm, costing GGC, and those awaiting farm ownership, millions in revenues. Not to mention all of Kirley’s frivolous legal actions to do nothing but harm GGC. He never had any intent to be a part of GGC or help its success. He was brought into GGC to ruin it and then try to pick it up for pennies on the dollar. Try and back up something that you say with real documents, rather than lies or contrived statements.

          • mary sunshine

I do back up what I say with documents. Why don’t you do the same? Please document where we stole from the property. Document how we destroyed the farm. Document how I am “aligned” with Del Real. Document how I hired a private investigator to follow you. Good luck with that.

You were able to get the farm subdivision, a trivial exercise that should have been accomplished before you sold the farm shares and individual orchards. You did it as a public relations gesture to help your case for staying out of jail. What about the residential subdivision? What about those 1/2 acre lots? Hmmmmm?

You can waste all night making up crazy stories and wild accusations to post on low traffic websites all you want. I hope you do. But in the end, none of it will stick because it’s all untrue and the prosecutor and the judge, who do NOT speak English and don’t care about your internet postings are the only people who matter, anyway. Since you want to improve our case with more libel, be my guest. I welcome it.

      • Terence

You would know, Johnson. You were running the same passport scam in Paraguay just before moving on to bring down GGC with your lies.

    • Richard Chiu

I have to disagree. An act of overt aggression based on violence is not justified by the failure of the victim to be adequately prepared to physically thwart it. I do not believe that the same act based on intentional deception can be justified by the failure of the victim to be mentally prepared to resist it.

If Berwick were to threaten physical assault to others if they did not give him money, and they were unprepared to resist and thus capitulated in giving him money, I would grant that they have a cause for redress against him using whatever force is necessary.

I must grant the same cause for redress to his victims in this case.

      • Don Duncan

We don’t disagree that Jeff owes refunds for nonperformance. My point was that the victims are NOT blameless. Even close relatives, parents, siblings, cousins, and my brother-in-law have scammed me for a bunch. My wife had zero sympathy. She said, “You should have gotten it in writing.” I thought this over and now I realize that even if I had done so, I would be out the money permanently. The beneficiaries would just rationalize their debt as “money to be paid someday”. That is a common lie people tell themselves to keep from facing their theft. One variation a cousin used: “You’re the only one in my will.” (He has no assets.)

Anyone who fronted Jeff money on his word alone was not prudent. In retrospect they should be honest with themselves and that may help them avoid this mistake. Putting all the blame on Jeff is not going to help them.

        • Richard Chiu

People need to realize that there are limits to recourse, and that punishing the aggressor doesn’t mean they get back what they’ve lost.

But that is completely irrelevant to promoting a libertarian society. When people are injured by a criminal, we pity them and hope they learn their lesson, but instructing them on their errors rather than offering such redress as is possible is just another betrayal. After you offer redress, and they ask for your help in avoiding such a situation again, then you can offer them your advice.

Recognizing that advice is all it is, and you might be wrong, and you have no right to enforce adoption of it.

        • Brady2600

You can very well bet that when they signed up for the program that they all signed contracts stipulating that his assistance in itself is what they are paying for, and not a liability for an outcome. This is the case even for all the legal services, I think its really unlikely anything will come of it. If they wanted to implicate him in a specific crime, they were going to have to do better than this.

  • Thomas Gordon

Been telling you mother fuckers about this piece of shit for years.
Learn from it Christopher! *All* these Bitcoin-pumpers are liars.

    • mary sunshine

And add Li’l lying Kenny Johnson to that list. He just loves bitcoin. Stole $100k from a guy, scamming him on a bitcoin “investment.”

  • Richard Chiu

One of the notable failures of the liberty movement is drawing people in by talking about physical violence and then glossing over the issue of deception.

A lot of people are instructed on how the justifications which the statist offers for the violence of the state are all lies. But very few are then led to examine how lies are used to justify acts of violence by other parties, and to deny retributive remedy for injuries.

Berwick has stolen millions of dollars from a lot of people by now. Under any rational interpretation of NAP, any one (or combination) of those defrauded could legitimately put a loaded gun to his head and ask for their money back, and if Berwick proved unwilling or unable to comply, pull the trigger. This would not be an act of aggression, merely the retributive remedy necessary to any society that truly wishes to limit the utility of aggression as a means of exchange.

To say otherwise is to admit that, because the state claims to be a legitimate protector of their rights, anyone who has ever believed that has no right to redress after discovering that the state does not actually protect their rights. I know that there are psychopathic “anarchists” who want to argue that nobody has a right to demand redress against the state for anything the state might have stolen from them through fraudulent representation of itself as a legitimate defender of their rights, and thus that nobody has a right to demand redress against their own non-state psychopathic deceptions, but I do not and cannot accept this argument for the same reason that I do not accept that the state is legitimate as long as it in fact commands superior physical force to compel obedience.

Now, it is true that anyone who puts a gun to Berwick’s head is probably still not going to get their money back. I’m not saying we should try to engage the fantasy that retributive redress actually repairs inflicted injury. But those Berwick has injured have a right to put bullets through his head, so that Berwick won’t get away with defrauding them just because he’s made it impossible for them to get their money back.

If we don’t believe this, then we don’t believe in redress for any fait accompli, for instance a murder or a rape or anything else where the aggression is sufficient to ensure that complete restitution cannot be expected.

And if we don’t believe that, then frankly the state has the superior moral claim.

  • mary sunshine

GGC was and is a scam in the hands of Ken Johnson.

Unbelievable that this thief and fraud would show up here accusing others of being scammers. GGC was a fraud from the very beginning when Johnson defrauded his partners, including Berwick, out of their ownership of the project. He then went on to defraud 73 others of over $10 million while violating SEC regulations. Everywhere this swindler goes, he leaves a trail of broken promises and harmed people–vendors and employees unpaid and abused, unsatisfied investors with nothing to show for their hard-earned money, and who supported him for the past three years while having to endure his slander and libel. He even starved two puppies to death while feeding his own mangy dog salmon dinners, yet claims to love animals.

On a regular basis, I receive phone calls and emails from GGC investors who have lost all their savings due to swindler Johnson.

Whatever Berwick’s faults, Johnson’s are 10x worse, and 10x as criminal. He is a lying, theiving, scheming conman and not even a good one. Didn’t you know? He brought on a Chilean as a partner in GGC who proceeded to steal the whole project out from under his nose. This guy, Johnson, is so stupid, he signed legal documents written in Spanish when he barely speaks a word of the language.

Cantwell, guess who set up the TDV passport program? The scammer Ken Johnson. The Paraguay program was thoroughly illegal. The woman who ran it got a pass so as not to expose the Paraguayan government employees who helped her with the illegal passports. Johnson bragged about his involvement in TDV passports to many people in Chile and through email, and admitted it was a scam. Ask him how many passports he delivered. Johnson is guilty of the very scam he’s accusing Berwick of.

Cantwell, ask swindler Johnson how many investors–plural?–still support him out of the 73? Just one idiot who thinks that blowing another $100k on ill-advised and fraudulent court actions will get him his $550k back. Not a chance.

Cantwell, Johnson hired four thugs who held two of the investors’ employees at gunpoint. You would do well to distance yourself from this disgusting excuse for a human being.

    Cathy Cuthbert
    GGC Recovery Team

    • Ken Johnson

This isn’t worth replying to, so I will leave everyone with this about the “GGC rescue” team, whom now morphed into the “GGC recovery” team after they stole, or destroyed, millions of dollars worth of GGC assets, which there are criminal proceedings underway for at the present time. The “GGC Recovery Team” trust was created by Edward J Lashlee (search: Edward J Lashlee Department of Justice Ponzi Scheme), whom was convicted of creating fraudulent trusts, managing a massive Ponzi scheme, theft of client funds and much more. He, and Thomas Baker, whom are two of your co-conspirators, broke into the GGC offices illegally in October of 2014, four days after Josh Kirley signed a Power of Attorney agreement with Lashlee to do so. Six days prior to the illegal break in (and subsequent theft and destruction of millions in GGC assets/revenues), I demanded from Lashlee, and Robert Mish, the proper documents that outline where the money came from to pay for their 10-hectare lemon orchard in GGC. They did not supply me with the required scanned passport for Mish, or the letter explaining where the funds came from (as is required by GGC to obtain for international wires over $10,000), so I informed them that I will need to inform the banking authorities in Chile of my concerns about the $575,000 USD that came from an account in Asia, under another party’s name. Hmmmm. Sounds a lot like what Lashlee was convicted for in 2003, doesn’t it? I guess we will find out…and I guess we will find out what the penalties will be for those involved in this, which I believe to be possible money laundering, bank fraud, tax evasion and more. Why don’t you talk about any of this Ms. Cuthbert? It is a significant part of the reason why Lashlee and Baker broke into the GGC offices to steal the computers, hard drives, banking records, accounting records, etc. They had also hoped to steal my own laptop and documents, which is why you had a private investigaror follow me back to GGC, for Lashlee and Baker to pounce. I avoided that situation and protected what they came to steal, and cover up. I then also recovered all of the emails, signed documents, Del Real bank statements (from your friends, the Del Reals), that outline a long list of crimes that you had carried out from October 2014 (if not much earlier) through April 2015, when I came back to GGC to stop the intentional destruction at the hands of the “rescuers”.

      • mary sunshine

If this isn’t worth replying to, then why did you reply?

There was no illegal break in. They were let in by the night watchman. The police agreed with that and they stayed on the property for a week to be followed by other investors. We had the permission of the property owner and general manager of GGC to be there. We stole nothing. This is totally made up. We ran an unprofitable farm for six months until you sent four thugs to break into the farm hold our employees at gun point.

This is totally ridiculous, completely made up nonsense. I have never hired a private investigator in my life. I have never met the Del Reals–they are YOUR friends. You brought them into the project. I have nothing to do with them. All the docs you talk about were in the office at GGC, of course, left there by YOU. It was your office and your paperwork. Duh.

When The Recovery Team went to the farm, the main house and office were in a shambles-absolutely filthy, and smelled. They had to rip out the carpet in the office due to the horrendous smell of dog and urine. We had to dispose of your mattress due to the horrendous smell of dog and urine. The house was filthy, right down to a stopped up toilet full of feces off your bedroom. There was wicker furniture outside that was being ruined by the sun and rain. One side of the main house didn’t have doors and windows, including the kitchen, which was also filthy. Sink piled high with dirty pots and pans. The grounds were unkempt. The manager’s residence was also without doors and window. Your starving, mangy dogs roamed in and out urinating and defecating everywhere. Two of the dog starve to death before we got there. The others we had to take to the vet.

You’ve lived off our money for three years and like any welfare cheat, you have no regard for property. That was obvious from the state of the premises.

Since you have nothing better to do, you have time to reply to my comments with libel. Great, I love it. As I always tell you. please keep it up. Keep lying, keep libeling, keep making those nausea inducing videos. We gather such great material for our criminal case. it makes my job so much easier.

Honestly based on what was said, you’ll notice his language doesn’t directly implicate a specific crime, I don’t think this will stick. The contracts that people engage with him probably all stipulate that they are facilitating and that is what the fee’s are for rather than the documents themselves. He says stuff like “six week program” or other vague language. He very likely is engaging in greasing the skids, but that doesn’t mean he’s been implicated in a specific crime, and likely Ken Johnson (also implicated in a 10.5 million dollar realty scam) posting this actually assures that he will see a sting attempt coming. Especially him being based out of Mexico, this is more likely to just make it impossible for it to happen than him actually go to jail for it.

Ken Johnson was running the same Passport scam in Paraguay just before moving on to make GGC into a disaster he did. In fact, when I first read Mark Nestmann’s article I assumed it was Johnson but was surprised Mark was referring to Mexico.

$30K was the exact price Johnson (Working for TDV, at the time) quoted customers (In 2012) for fast-tracked Paraguayan passports. They bribed an official in the passport office to backdate the applications. The backdating technique is what required them to make children “Ineligible” for the fast-tracked “Program” as the backdates would have the children entering the country before they were born.

The scam was busted when the official’s activities were discovered.

The actual cost of a PY passport is around $6-7k in legal and application fees in addition to the cost of travel. I met with a legitimate lawyer in Paraguay about this in December 2012 and these are the fees she quoted.

I haven’t followed up on this since hearing it from my source (Currently living in PY) while doing background research for the GGC story. It would be interesting to know if any passports were revoked, afterwards.

This is also a potential traveling achilles heal for Johnson if he uses his PY passport.

    • Ken Johnson

Shows you how much you knowingly deceive people “Terence”. I don’t have a Paraguay passport. Fun fun.

      • Terence

You are a human predator, Johnson, more commonly described as a psychopath. The book is out for all to read. Documenting your crimes and endless series of victims can be a part-time job but this one is done, enjoy.

        • Ken Johnson

          lol

          See above.

      • mary sunshine

Why do you constantly accuse everyone of lying? Terence was not lying about you having a PY passport, he was assuming you had one, just as Cantwell did, with your “expedited” program. Cantwell outed you nicely, and you have the gall to call Terence a liar??? Cantwell demonstrated quite quickly and easily that you are the liar. It’s amazing you have the nerve to keep posting here after the pasting you took. Clearly you have nothing to do. Where are the subdivision approval? How’s community building going?

  • Terence

Anyway, I enjoyed Cantwell’s article on Berwick. It strikes the right balance between greasing state wheels and defrauding people who trust you. People who betray their friends and those who trust them are not freedom-lovers, they’re just unqualified assholes.

  • Terence

The point about Johnson’s egregious mistreatment of dogs is more important than it seems. He advertised GGC as an animal sanctuary and when people dropped off their dogs he let them all starve. The investors saw the bodies of the dogs Johnson let starve while feeding his own dog salmon steaks.
Of course, the humans Johnson defrauded (76 people bilked out of $10.45M with still nothing delivered in return) is far more important. However, some psychologists take the mistreatment of animals as a dangerous indicator of how the same person might be abusive to humans. In Johnson’s case this theory seems to be proved.

    • Ken Johnson

      LOL

You stated to Chris Cantwell that you can assess people’s psychological profiles remotely. Wow…that is impressive “Terence”.

We take quite good care of the dogs that live on the farm, feeding them 2-3 times daily, with ample clean water and medications.

I just spent $200 USD on surgery for one of the younger dogs that was attacked, losing her eye, to a dog that attacked her out in the street.

      Get a life man.

      • mary sunshine

After you starved two to death. I saw them. Now you claim to be on best behavior because you’ve been exposed. Big deal

      • Lew

Got any info on Anthony Wile? He’s pushing his own development in Colombia which is being promoted by Jeff Berwick. Seems sketchy…

    • englishvinal

      First … I am not involved with the Gaults Gulch fisaco… nor Mexican Passports etc… I am aware for other reasons that Jeff Berwick leaves a lot to be desired as an “honest man”…. that said;

Terrance & “Sunshine” are a vindictive pair of jackals!… I’ve been reading for 15 minutes and lastly I reach “he fed HIS dogs salmon steaks while he let other people’s dogs starve to death”…. come ON dude…
      Flash for you two, …
….. you have reached the push the wet brown paper bag too far point…. and lost credibility. Your agenda, whatever it is, is pushing you past the limits of alienability…. I have no clue as to why you are SO frantic to get the general public to buy your increasingly fantastic/fantasy tale… I am sure you have your reasons, but if you actually do have a case filed or pending no jurist is going to buy into your wild eyed accusations.

Our two programs in Paraguay also fit most all budgets. One program, which is more economical takes approximately four years to complete for your citizenship and our exclusive expedited program allows clients to obtain citizenship in only eight months! Paraguayan citizenship affords you visa free travel to over 100 countries! Only eight months to freedom! I’m going through this program this month. If you’d like to join me in doing so, just let me know!

So, were you lying on the podcast or lying in this e-mail?

Seems like you were Jeff Berwick’s mentor doing the same things in PY in ‘012.

  • Lew

Sounds like the lies are finally catching up to him. I have had my suspicions about his friend Anthony Wile too. Every investment he pitches goes down the tubes from his gold mining company to biologix hair to Vida Cannabis etc. Best stay clear.

Omg, another Luke R full of shit con. Hope he goes to prison for the rest of his life.
