When I first saw #CancelColbert trending, I got pissed off. Humor is under constant attack, and if comedians have to start thinking about who their jokes might offend before they tell them, we can expect to live in a world devoid of laughter. More than the economics, more than the violence, more than anything else, this is why I despise liberals to the very core. I am disgusted with them in a fashion that all my mastery of the English language fails to find words for. I hate these race pimp, gender baiting, PC hysterics, and nanny state censors with every ounce of my being. I sincerely wish the worst for all of them. Disfigurement, prison, disease, famine, anything but a quick painless death.
Since I stopped watching television years ago, it didn’t occur to me until later that that’s exactly what Stephen Colbert is. He’s the annoying clown at some leftist carnival dunk tank. Pissing off passers by in hopes they’ll buy a chance to throw a ball at a target and put him in the drink. He pretends to be a stupid conservative on the air, and the whole point is to make a mockery of all that is not far left. This made it all the more funny when the same morons who made this routine possible turned on his character, and all the more sickening when the media started standing up for him.
If you’re not familiar with the story, it erupts over a tweet from the Comedy Central owned twitter account of the Colbert Report character. The tweet read “I am willing to show #Asian community I care by introducing the Ching-Chong Ding-Dong Foundation for Sensitivity to Orientals or Whatever”
The exact same line was said during the show the night before, but nobody had a problem with it when he was using it to mock Dan Snyder, owner of the Redskins football team. Snyder had come up with a charity called the “Washington Redskins Original Americans Foundation” in hopes of taking some of the heat off his team, which has been under fire from the race baiting leftists who say the team’s name is racist. You can see the bit in its original context in the video below, it starts at about 5:30 minutes in.
Comedy Central deleted the tweet after the uproar began, and both Colbert’s personal account and Comedy Central quickly drew the distinctions between Colbert the person, and Colbert the fictional character.

Since when does context matter to liberals?
Herein we see the inherent hypocrisy of the left. “Wait a second, he’s one of us!”. Have you ever seen the Huffington Post be so soft on anything racially insensitive? Salon.com is standing up for a Comedian’s right to make a joke? Did you ever imagine Daily Kos would be taking the side of a “racist” tweet? When was the last time Cathy Reisenwitz didn’t tweet for 3 days? Antonio Buehler had nothing to say about this outrageous racism?
Once the kneejerk emotional reaction calmed down, everything went back to normal for leftist America. “Oh, Colbert is just kidding, no big deal”. Too bad they never showed that kind of consideration for me. Too bad they never showed it for the Opie & Anthony show. Too bad they never showed it for Tracy Morgan, or Don Imus, or Howard Stern, or any number of other public figures in the humor business, who had their careers threatened by this sort of manufactured phony liberal outrage in the past.
