The guest for this episode requires no introduction. Or does he?
I’m quite certain every Radical Agenda listener knew his name well before they knew mine. Yet the question remains, what do they know?
If you own a television, you know he was in the Ku Klux Klan, and was disavowed by name by the President of the United States. If you’ve read a newspaper, you probably know he was a State Rep in Louisiana. If you’ve read Wikipedia, you might know that he was a candidate in the Democratic presidential primaries in 1988, the Republican presidential primaries in 1992, and also ran unsuccessfully for the Louisiana State Senate, United States Senate, United States House of Representatives, and for Governor of Louisiana.
Dr. Duke reportedly told The Daily Telegraph that he left the Klan in 1980 because he disliked its associations with violence and could not stop the members of other Klan chapters from doing “stupid or violent things.” Yet even I, a comparatively well informed person on such matters, still associated him with the so called “1.0” group until fairly recently, and had not paid him much mind.
Some of you had made me aware that he had tweeted screenshots of some of my Facebook posts, and I was honored to be recognized by somebody who had been in this for so long. So I tried to reach out to him through his website to see about him being a guest on the Radical Agenda last year. When I did not get a reply, I assumed the bombast and profanity of the Radical Agenda was not to his taste, and this is part of why you now hear me say “Sorry for the F” when my efforts to reduce said profanity fail.
I met Dr. Duke at Macintyre park in Charlottesville leading up to the Unite the Right rally. He came up to me and introduced himself, and I was surprised to hear him say it was an honor to meet me. As it turns out he just hadn’t gotten the message for whatever reason, and now wanted me to come on his show. I happily accepted this honor, but sadly had to do so from the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail.
While I was in the jail, you may be shocked to hear I had a bit of time on my hands. I spent much of that time reading, and sought out a copy of Dr Duke’s book “My Awakening” but the jail only allowed paperbacks and Amazon only had a hard cover. So after my release I picked up the ebook and I am in the process of reading it right now. I am thoroughly impressed with his knowledge, thoughtfulness, and eloquent writing style. It stands in stark contrast to the caricature portrayed in the Jewish media of the ignorant hatemonger, backwards and stuck in a less sophisticated time.
In fact, like many of us, Dr. Duke started off believing all the nonsense we’ve been fed about racial equality. The path which led him to this point you could say began in an eighth-grade civics class at Ganus Junior High School. The teacher gave her students an interesting assignment. They were to choose a topic dealing with current events and take a polemical position on it, then research that topic and defend it rationally in class. Thinking he had picked an easy winner, Dr. Duke chose as his topic “The Case for Racial Integration of Education.”
Then, like a scene out of an M. Night Shyamalan film, the teacher told them they would have to research the topic and defend the opposite point of view in class.
Even then, he had his work cut out for him. All of the information in the media, and every book in the school library, all preached the same Jewish lie of racial equality.
Concerned he would have trouble defending a position he morally opposed and lacked evidence to support, he stumbled upon a newspaper advertisement for the White Citizens Council, which quoted Judge Leander Perez of Plaquemines Parish as saying that racial integration would ultimately destroy the quality of the New Orleans public school system. He went down to their offices, and asked for reading material to support him in his assignment, and found hundreds of volumes of scientific literature on the subject of racial differences.
Every Radical Agenda listener can sympathize with the paradigm shattering which necessarily ensued.
The (Jewish Daily) Forward has said that Duke “paved the way” for the alt-right movement. A rare bit of honest reporting on their part, as he had committed to writing in 1998 a great deal of information which I found quite groundbreaking to read even today. The Radical Agenda might not exist without his contributions, which explains why the Jews hate him so much, and why I am so honored to have him as my guest as we approach the exciting conclusion of Stage Three.
