It was only a matter of time before it happened again.
Listeners of So to Speak may recall an incident over the summer where a gang of Somali migrants in Lewiston, Maine savagely beat a man named Donald Giusti so severely that he later died of his injuries in the hospital.
Listeners may also recall that local media outlets, following the example set by Reade Brower’s Lewiston Sun Journal, omitted all identifying details about the attackers, and that no one was ever charged for Donald’s death despite the fact that a video of the incident was widely circulated on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube (before being censored for “hate speech”).
Following a candle-lit vigil on Thursday night in Lewiston to commemorate Donald’s birthday, attendees were attacked by a mob wielding bats and sticks. Five people were injured, with one being sent to the hospital. Once again, no one was arrested and no identifying details about the attackers were given by the police or the media despite the fact that Lewiston has been outfitted with street surveillance cameras.
Based on these omissions and the circumstances of the attack, one is left to conclude that this was yet another instance of Somali gang violence in Maine where the perpetrators were shielded from legal liability and public scrutiny by a complicit media and police force.
How far are the Lewiston Police and J-left media willing to go to gaslight the people of Maine into not perceiving or defending themselves against this migratory threat? We’ll be discussing this in further detail, but we’ll also be talking about the latest fiscal and foreign policy news.
