Lobby Day is upon us, and so is the 2A demonstration in the capitol of the great state of Virginia.
If you’re smart, you won’t go anywhere near the place. The random sock accounts with fake names and anime profile pics won’t be there to bail you out, I assure you.
The idea of abstaining from such a rally might leave a bad taste in your mouth, but I assure you it beats whatever flavor you’ll be tasting if you get arrested for lawfully defending yourself against a rioting Antifa terrorist — especially if websites and podcasts like this one are in your internet history. Remember: your online activities can be used to elevate charges against you to the level of hate crimes and terrorism — even if they’re totally innocuous.
When it comes to revolution, firing the first shot is never advantageous. You aren’t going to get the political power of AIPAC by LARPing as Antifa in the street anymore than you’ll bring cargo planes to Africa by dancing on makeshift dirt landing strips. Antifa’s immunity from the law is a lagging indicator of the political power of those who protect it. It is not the *source* of that political power.
They have the power they have because their supporters already marched through the institutions, which is exactly what we need to do.
We’re going to be exploring the topic in further detail.
