If you’re like me, you look at world events on an almost daily basis and find it shocking that things manage to continue on in a relative state of calm. It seems like any day we could find ourselves in a Venezuela type situation where supermarket shelves are empty.
I’ve already seen this happen. I was in New York during hurricane Sandy. As the storm approached, everybody went to the supermarket. Long lines, shortages, and panicked people did not make for a good time. After the storm, there were fuel shortages, thefts, road closures, and National Guard on the streets.
Don’t be a last minute disaster shopper. Be prepared.
